Awana

Awana_LogoWHAT IS AWANA?

AWANA is a Bible-centered, youth-oriented, weekday club program, raised up by the Lord to provide an evangelistic tool for winning young people to Christ.

The name AWANA is derived from a verse of scripture, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15)

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is designed for boys and girls, three years old through high school. Boys and girls become “new creatures in Christ” (II Corinthians 5:17) when they hear, believe and receive the gospel of the grace of God.

~Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)
