December 2013 Memory Verse

December 16, 2013 By gsbcadmin

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. a table before me in the presence of  mine enemies: thou anointest

my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy

shall follow me all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

  • Making Disciples for Christ
Early in the basketball season, the coach at our neighborhood middle school seemed to work hardest convincing his players to risk shooting the ball. “Shoot!” he pleaded from the sidelines. His players eagerly passed the ball. Dribbling was a favorite too. The season was half over before most of them would shed their doubts and […]
